Chris Sabin Accuses Mustafa Ali of Paying For X-Division Title Shot

Mustafa Ali made his TNA debut this year and he is already set to get a title shot in his in-ring debut against Chris Sabin. Ahead of the bout, Sabin has now accused Ali of paying to get the title shot.

In the closing scenes of the January 25 TNA iMPACT! episode, a vignette starring Mustafa Ali hinted at a major transformation within TNA. The message emphasized a new change, driven by the introduction of an “x-factor.” Mustafa Ali made a surprise appearance in the vignette, expressing enthusiasm as he marked his debut in TNA.

It was eventually announced that Chris Sabin will defend the TNA X-Division Championship against Mustafa Ali at TNA No Surrender on February 23.

Chris Sabin posted on Twitter to suggest that Mustafa Ali, being a politician who buys advertising during his matches, may have purchased his title shot without earning it.

‘‘Since this dude is a politician and buys advertising during my matches, I’m only assuming he also bought this title shot without earning it. Classic.”

Ali responded by denying the allegations, stating that any speculation about using campaign funds to buy a title shot was simply speculation.

”I admittedly deny these allegations. Any speculation about using campaign funds to “buy” a title shot is just that, speculation.”

Mustafa Ali also won his first championship after his WWE release. We will have to wait and see if the former WWE Superstar will end up defeating Chris Sabin for the title this month.
